About Us
Themusicscool is one of India’s finest academy, providing professional education in the field of electronic music. We are the first school in India that offers experience-based learning, and with our extensive network of channel partners, students will not only study in the classroom but will also apply their knowledge in the internship programs offered at TMS.
Founded by Clement Dsouza, and we have constantly brought great DJs and Producers to the world of electronic music in India.
Our goal is to deliver high-quality education through a structured procedure that will prepare students to be successful professionals at the conclusion of the course.
The Ride so far ...
Clement is the founder of TheMusicscool, and he has over 25+ years of industry expertise. Deejaying was not a popular art form when Clement began his career, but he took to it quite effortlessly. It all began with turntables and experimenting with various genres. He got skilled at sensing the mood of his audience and swiftly adapting to provide exactly what they required.
Clement comes from a time when he observed the evolution of technology. Today’s technology is being improved or updated, but the complete transition from turntables to digital occurred during his time, and he observed this dramatic shift. When we see a DJ nowadays, we don’t realize how much work made them the experts they are.
This is why he decided to establish The Music’Scool. His efforts should serve as a lesson for future generations. His goal is to deliver high-quality education through a structured procedure that will prepare students to be successful professionals at the conclusion of the course. The curriculum that we have created is the result of almost two decades of expertise.
When The Music’Scool started, we obviously didn’t know the scale at which we would operate. However, with each passing week and month we began slowly gaining recognition in this field. There were many difficulties that we faced in the early days. Limitations such as qualified trainers, the struggle to source music, lack of professional institutes where one could go and get themselves professionally trained to name a few.
Most established DJ’s, including myself, are self taught. We come from en era where we have witnessed the change in technology over time. Today technology is getting enhanced or updated, but the entire switch from turntables to digital is what happened during our time and we have witnessed this drastic switch. We see a DJ today but are not really aware of what all went into making them the professionals that they are. This is the reason that I decided to start The Music’Scool.
The struggles that we had should serve as a learning for newer generations. Our aim is to provide quality education with a guided process to help students become a successful professional at the end of the course. Over 2 decades of experience has gone into the curriculum that we have designed.
I also travel a lot and during these travels visited some amazing academies across the world. It has always been my vision to start an academy of international standards in India and can proudly say we are the among India’s leading music academies today.
Clement D’Souza is a veteran DJ with over 25 years of experience, known for his electrifying stage presence and genre-spanning versatility. A three-time DMX Champion, Clement has performed at some of the biggest stages in the country, including the IIFA Awards and the IPL. From Bollywood and commercial to EDM and Hip-Hop, his open-format sets are a masterclass in crowd control. With decades of residencies, festival appearances, and mentorship to his name, Clement remains a pillar of the Indian DJ community.
Sai (Aadat) is a trance DJ and the Head of Operations at The Musics’Cool. He’s also the founder of PumpRoom, a platform known for pushing cutting-edge sounds and talent. Originally from Tamil Nadu and brought up in Delhi and Bengaluru, Sai brings a unique cultural blend to his music rooted in emotion, rhythm, and rave energy.
Niraakar (Rahul) is a seasoned DJ from Assam with over 15 years of experience. Rooted in old-school style and technique, he’s a true multi-genre artist effortlessly blending hip-hop, baile funk, R&B, and house. Known for his sharp scratching skills and deep musical knowledge, Niraakar brings a classic touch to every set with a sound that’s both nostalgic and fresh
Bassvibe (Abraham George) is an experienced DJ from Kochi with over 15 years in the game. Specializing in open-format sets, he seamlessly blends genres to match any vibe, any crowd, any time. Known for his versatility and deep-rooted love for music, Bassvibe brings both skill and soul to every performance.
Heslyn (DJ Silvr) is an old-school, open-format DJ with over 20 years of experience behind the decks. Comfortable across all genres, he knows exactly how to read a room and keep the vibe alive. Currently the resident DJ at Bang, The Ritz-Carlton, he brings a timeless style and unmatched crowd control to every set.
Dimo (Pratham Modi) is a seasoned DJ and music producer with over 7 years of experience. Known for his genre-blending style and sharp sound design, he’s released 50+ tracks on Spotify, building a solid presence in the electronic music scene. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, Dimo delivers fresh, high-energy vibes every time
Harry (Harish Laxman) is a veteran VJ/DJ with over 20 years of experience and an official Sunburn Union artist. His astronomical VJ skills have lit up stages for global acts like Space Motion, Korolova, Miss Monique, Cassian, Blasterjaxx, and many more. Whether behind the decks or the visuals, Harry knows how to turn every show into a full-blown spectacle.
