A DJ, host, VJ, Music Promoter and Festival Curator; the name Nikhil Chinapa rarely needs an introduction. Having been associated with dance music for over 25 years, it’s no surprise he’s often credited with popularising the genre in India.
When I first met Nikhil, he was a VJ at MTV – one of the most popular channels for music among the youth. Since then, he’s gone on to build some of the biggest brands in dance music today, including VH1 Supersonic, Satellite Beachside, Submerge Music and Sunburn in its early days.
With such a celebrated career that continues till today, Nikhil has a world of knowledge and experience that he’s always happy to share. That made Nikhil the perfect guest for our weekly episode of In Conversation With, where we talk about all things Dance Music.
